The Opportunity

Chaparral Medical Group is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our collaborative and mission-driven team. This is a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care to patients across all ages—children, adults, and seniors—in a supportive, multi-specialty medical group setting. You will play a key role in delivering whole-person, longitudinal care that promotes wellness, manages chronic conditions, and addresses acute medical concerns. What you'll do

• Document and update charts and patient information to show findings and treatments
• Order tests and consultations for other physicians or healthcare staff to perform
• Review test results to identify abnormal findings
• Exercise judgment in establishing priorities of medical care in triage situations
• Provide case management with other health care team members
• Recommend, design, and implement a long-term treatment plan
• Address concerns or answer questions that patients have about their health and well-being
• Help patients take care of their health by discussing topics such as proper nutrition and hygiene
• Management of services in accordance with established Clinic's policies / procedures and contracted service under CHDP, Managed Medical Care and other medical programs and guidelines
