Fuel / Lube Truck Driver - Primoris Heavy Civil - Houston, TX

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking an experienced fuel truck / lube driver with an active CDL A, and Tanker and Hazmat endorsements for our ongoing highway and bridge projects in Houston, TX. Candidates will be required to operate fuel truck, fuel and grease heavy equipment and provide fluids as needed for the equipment. Primary work location will be in the North Houston area.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• CDL A required with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements
• Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
• Self-motivated and capable of following directions and effectively work in a team environment.
• Maintain accurate record keeping of all daily tasks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes, fluid top-offs, and basic inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel / lube usage, maintenance performed, and equipment hours.
• Identify and report potential mechanical issues to the Equipment Manager or Shop Foreman.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Operate lube / fuel trucks and other service vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
• Keep work area and machines clean and free of excessive oil and grease.
• Perform visual inspections on equipment and provide written report of conditions and deficiencies.
• Service a wide variety of construction equipment including pavers, dirt equipment, plant equipment, and other types of machinery.
