Position : Medical Imaging Repair Technician
Location : West Jordan, Utah 84084 - Onsite 5x a week
Duration : Contract to Direct hire
Pay Rate : $20 - $22 / hr
Required Education and Experience :
- Associate's degree or certificate in electronics or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills, with an aptitude for learning specialized software and diagnostic tools.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude towards learning new technologies and repair techniques.
Preferred Education and Experience :

Insight Global is hiring for an entry-level position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment. No prior medical imaging experience is required; however, candidates should possess a solid foundation in electronics, gained through formal education or equivalent work experience. This role is critical to ensuring the optimal performance of medical imaging systems and contributes directly to maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Key responsibilities :
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical imaging equipment under supervision, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.Diagnose and resolve issues related to electronic components, systems, and imaging performance.Assist with the installation, setup, and calibration of new or repaired medical imaging systems.Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and any required follow-up.Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards related to medical equipment maintenance and repair.Collaborate with senior technicians and other team members to ensure efficient repair and service of equipment.Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients, providing status updates on equipment repairs.Follow manufacturer guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
