7th/8th Grade Science Teacher

We are hiring a dedicated and student-centered 7 & 8 grade Science Teacher to join our school community for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering academic growth, nurturing the whole child, and creating a structured, engaging classroom environment where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in core subject areas
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents/guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration to support student success
• Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance instruction
• Uphold school policies, procedures, and professional expectations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to continuous professional growth
