Job description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Dec 29, 2025. This role involves day shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, focusing on outpatient primary care within a hospital setting. Ideal candidates will have experience in managing diabetes and familiarity with outpatient clinic operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting.
  • Diagnose and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide effective patient care.
  • Utilize the RPMS EMR system for documentation and management of patient records.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

  • Required certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Experience in IHS facilities is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates should hold any necessary state medical licenses.
