Sales Commission Analyst - Channel Sales
Trimble is seeking an experienced Sales Analyst to support the Channel Sales function of our AECO business. In this position, you'll join a growing team of Analysts supporting our Channel Sales teams, focused on our Global Indirect business supporting Channel sales activities in other global regions. You'll work closely with our broader Analyst team to share best practice and ensure commonality of process where possible.
As one of our Sales Commission Analysts, you will be supporting Trimble's Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Owner (AECO) Sector and specifically our Global Indirect sales organisation through design, management and administration of our sales incentives and commission processes in the region. You will report to the Senior Manager, Global Indirect Sales Operations, and your work will be critical to the continued success and revenue growth of the Sector and Trimble. This position requires a strong understanding of complex commission plans, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal stakeholders including senior managers.
This role is open to candidates to work remotely within the UK. There will be semi-regular travel to Trimble office locations to meet with your Manager as well as to attend Channel Sales leadership meetings. There will also be the potential for occasional overseas travel to EMEA and the US.
Key responsibilities include providing key inputs in the annual commission plan design for Indirect sales team, supporting the AECO Sales Organization in all sales compensation and commission related matters, assisting with the maintenance and development of the AECO Sales Incentive Compensation software platform and seller plans across EMEA, APAC and LATAM, partnering with other Compensation team members and Business Partners to solve sales compensation-related business problems and provide insight and guidance, generating and maintaining performance analysis, including individual and team seller productivity, and identification of performance improvement opportunities, and supporting process improvement efforts around the compensation planning and maintenance process.
What skills and experience you should bring include a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent hands-on experience, ideally 1-3 years experience in a sales and incentive compensation management role, additional or relevant experience in a quantitative role such as sales operations, finance, business operations, data analytics or business analytics is a plus, a high degree of mathematical and analytical competency, proficiency in Salesforce.com, Google Sheets and / or Excel are a must, experience with BI tools and / or sales compensation and related compensation management software is a bonus, strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional presence, ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence, and sound judgement, excellent problem solving and analysing skills, ability to adapt to change positively, thrive in a matrixed work environment, and effectively manage competing demands, and fluent English language skills.
