About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Marketplace to spearhead the strategic and operational aspects of its expansion onto various online retail platforms. This pivotal leadership position is focused on the development and ownership of a comprehensive marketplace strategy, encompassing sales planning, pricing, inventory management, and promotional activities. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving continuous growth in key performance metrics and will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the marketplace strategy is in line with the overall business objectives. Additionally, the role involves building and mentoring a high-performing marketplace team and managing key relationships with external partners on major online marketplaces. The ideal candidate for the Head of Marketplace role at the company will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, or related fields, with a strong emphasis on a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability. Deep expertise in managing online marketplaces, particularly on major platforms, is essential. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, who can thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. The Head of Marketplace will be instrumental in scaling a new revenue channel and must be adept at managing the end-to-end marketplace strategy to ensure the company's success in the online retail space.
