Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center

Unit : LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) with Level 2 NICU

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,210 - $2,370

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

On-call : Yes, if LC on call

Block Scheduling : Available

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 or 1 : 3

Charting System : Epic

Scrub Color : Any

Parking : Free onsite

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Washington or Compact RN license (required at submission)

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or LDRP RN experience

Proficiency with Epic electronic health records

Community hospital nursing experience required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN Beginner preferred)

At least 2 supervisory references from the past 3 years in a comparable specialty / setting

LDRP or NICU training preferred

Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to patients in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum settings

Provide nursing care for neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults in a Level 2 NICU

Assist with high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum care

Perform newborn assessments, APGAR scoring, and neonatal resuscitation

Administer medications including magnesium sulfate, anticoagulants, antihypertensives, and insulin drips

Support breastfeeding and lactation education for new mothers

Educate parents on discharge instructions, car seat safety, and newborn care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic

Follow infection control and isolation protocols
