POSITION OVERVIEW

The SAP WM / MM Consultant will join a project team to leverage expertise in SAP functional, technical, industry, and tools / methods. This role is key to ensuring successful solution design and delivery for client projects, primarily within the Consumer Goods industry.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with client project teams to provide tailored solutions for project requirements.

Analyze project requirements and translate them into system solutions.

Perform system configuration, unit testing, and writing of functional specification documents.

Extend support during the integration test cycles and prepare test scripts.

Be actively involved in the timely resolution of defects and issues.

Collaborate with and manage the team (including a 3-person offshore team) to ensure effective performance and contribute to key decisions.

Provide clear communication regarding work progress to immediate reporting managers.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

An experienced SAP Consultant with 9-12 years of hands-on experience in SAP WM, LE, and MM. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert, capable of working independently, managing a small team, and providing robust solutions to complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze client business requirements and design robust SAP solutions.

Configure the SAP system, perform unit testing, and draft functional specification documents.

Lead defect resolution and provide support during integration testing cycles.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate with client and offshore teams.
