The RN Bridge Nurse plays a vital role in supporting clinical operations by bridging staffing gaps in unassigned homes and working directly with patients and families to ensure acceptance and utilization of authorized care. This role ensures continuity of care, promotes patient engagement, and supports compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the RN Bridge Nurse collaborates closely with the Operations team — including Care Team Directors, Staffing, and the Executive Director — to align field staffing strategies with patient needs. While this position reports directly to the DON, the RN Bridge Nurse maintains a collaborative (dotted-line) relationship with the Executive Director to ensure coordination between clinical and operational priorities.\n
