IV Pharmacist Manager

Responsibilities / Duties :

• Supervise IV Operations : Oversee the day-to-day activities of the IV department, ensuring the safe and accurate compounding of IV medications for long-term care facilities. Help the management team develop and implement SOPs for the IV department.
• Staff Management : Supervise and mentor a team of pharmacy technicians and IV specialists, providing training performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment. Provide disciplinary action, when necessary, process annual reviews, hiring and termination of employees. Schedule all technicians and pharmacists that work within the department.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all IV compounding processes comply with state and federal regulations, including USP

standards for sterile compounding and other relevant laws
