Family Medicine Physician Locums - North Carolina, Phone Call Only

Full-time assignment near Raleigh offering steady weekday work and shared phone-only call from home.

Highlights

  • Monday to Friday, no weekends on site
  • Call is phone-only and shared among 4 providers
  • Long-term need due to retirement

Practice Setting

  • Long-term care facility for adults with dementia and psychiatric conditions
  • On-site support : rehab, psychiatry, pharmacy, and more
  • Dedicated physician office with computer and phone
  • EPIC charting with Dragon dictation available

    • Schedule

  • Full-time, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Weekday call : 4 : 30 p.m. to 8 : 00 a.m., phone only
  • Weekend call : 24-hour pager, Saturday through Monday morning
  • Confirm any time off prior to submittal

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Medical rounds, H&Ps, discharges, and scheduled assessments
  • Review labs, imaging, and clinical data
  • Attend care plan meetings and family conferences

    • Requirements

  • MD or DO with active North Carolina license
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
  • BLS and DEA required

    • Travel Accommodations

  • All-inclusive rate; no separate travel reimbursement
  • Easy access to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
