Revenue Capture Specialist

A company is looking for a Revenue Capture Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Reconciles daily accounts to ensure all charges are captured in the Accounts Receivable system

Maintains and updates charge screens in the Electronic Medical Record system and reviews charge master files

Audits medical records against charges and claims for improvements in charge capture and documentation

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED - Required

Certified Coding Associate or equivalent (CPC / CSS / CCA / RHIT / RHIA / CPMA) - Preferred

3 years' experience in the healthcare industry with an in-depth understanding of clinical areas - Required

Medical coding and documentation review experience - Preferred

Understanding of ancillary department functions and ability to work independently - Required
