Here's what you'd do : -The Conformal Coat Specialist is responsible for performing subassembly, assembly, and all conformal coat paint processes on a variety of electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical assemblies, working from engineering drawings and work instructions for the client, Florida, Inc. Reports to the Production Supervisor.-Apply masking tape to all specified areas according to masking procedures and visual aid instructions.-Verify the integrity of the taping requirements to be applied to PCBs.-Accurately inspect the condition of incoming product.-Identify and report defective masked areas to the Group Leader.-Inspect own work to ensure placement accuracy and completeness of work performed.-Operate conformal coat automated machinery as part of the assembly process.-Hand spray boards as needed.-Apply conformal coat repairs on PCBs as needed.-Perform stripping, conformal coat, masking, touch-up, and bonding requirements on repair and overhaul units.-De-mask and inspect boards following the coating process for any defects and touch up as required.-Use calibrated equipment and machinery as part of the assembly process.-Maintain accurate documentation on rework, repairs, and modifications.-Bake circuit board assemblies and restock supplies as needed.-Assist with testing and NPI (new product introduction) as needed.-Troubleshoot and resolve department-related issues.-Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job-specific procedures.-Maintain ESD integrity within the production environment.-Responsible for the accuracy of the work-in process associated with the work cell.-Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area and the surrounding workspace.-Participate in Quality team meetings, as required.-May train other employees.-Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.

Required Skills / Qualifications : -High School Diploma or GED.-Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferably electronic manufacturing)-

Minimum 1 year of experience with high-volume work.-

Minimum 1 year of experience with ISO9001 and IPC Standards.-

Minimum 1 year of experience with operating machine.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications : -Minimum 1 year of experience in coating application / manual spray environment-Respirator certification-Familiar with handling chemicals.-ESD Training. -Ability to complete respirator training / certification.-IPC-A-610 Certified.-Ability to use various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches and screwdrivers).-Ability to work as a team member.-Ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.-Ability to interpret print, schematics, and diagrams.-Basic computer, problem solving, delegation and workstation skills.-Good written and verbal communication skills.-Attention to detail.
