Engineer Test 3

Description

This position is for a Test Engineer supporting an advanced technology software engineering team. You will work in a fast-paced environment alongside physicists, engineers, and software developers to help bring innovative technologies to life. The role is based on-site in Linthicum, MD.

Responsibilities

Establish and implement software test architecture for a legacy COTS application.

Collaborate with developers, scrum masters, and product owners to identify critical tests.

Write and execute tests to ensure quality software products prior to release.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with at least 8 years of experience.

Working knowledge of one of the following languages : C, WinForms.

Experience developing unit tests, refactoring code, and performing smoke tests.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating and deploying test architecture for legacy applications.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Familiarity with the Atlassian software suite.

Experience working within an agile scrum framework.

This is a Contract position based out of Linthicum Heights, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $110.00 / hr.
