Job Summary :
As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in leading the implementation and monitoring of robust health, safety, and environmental practices for chemical industry projects. Your efforts will ensure regulatory compliance, prevent workplace incidents, and cultivate a culture of safety among employees.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and oversee safety management systems on-site.
- Conduct engaging safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
- Perform regular safety inspections and audits to maintain high standards.
- Thoroughly investigate incidents and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are taken.
- Promote a proactive safety-first culture across all site activities.
Qualifications :
- NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety certification.
- 5+ years of experience in health, environmental, and safety roles in industrial or chemical environments.
- Strong knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
