Job description12 years recent relevant experience Solid understanding of operations and workflows, and how department's process / workflow impacts other department operations. Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to motivate and engage others. Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees. Collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various stakeholders. Delegates effectively, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities. Demonstrates effectiveness in achieving goals through individuals without having direct control of those resources. Ability to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction. Demonstrates ability to effectively plan and provide services consistent with applicable legal standards and regulations.
Limited Term Medical Director
Responsible for medical affairs and providing administration (at hospital, regional and system level) and medical staff with knowledge, experience and leadership from a medical management perspective. Facilitates communication and understanding among the various clinical components of the delivery system, assuring the provision of high quality, efficient and safe care. Participates in strategic planning at the affiliate, regional and system level. Develops and establishes the direction of policies and procedures and sets a structure for providing a safe and productive work environment.
Education :
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
