Job Title : Manufacturing Engineer

Location : Ashland, OH

Reports To : Plant Manager

Position Summary : The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes for fastener production. This role focuses on process optimization, tooling design, quality enhancement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality operations. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in fastener manufacturing, a strong problem-solving mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process Design & Optimization :

• Analyze current manufacturing processes for cold forming, hot forging, machining, threading, plating, and heat treatment of fasteners.
• Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing cost, and enhancing product quality.
• Develop and implement process improvements, including lean initiatives and automation solutions.
• Design and optimize production layouts, workflows, and work instructions.
