THE ROLE :
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Food Service Attendant to join our team at the hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional food service to patients, visitors, and staff members.
Responsibilities :
Prepare and serve food and beverages to patients, visitors, and staff membersEnsure that food is prepared and served in a safe and hygienic mannerMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areasFollow all food safety and sanitation guidelinesAssist with inventory management and restocking of suppliesProvide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff membersHandle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficientlyPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorWe are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in food service or customer service preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic math skills for cash handlingAbility to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 poundsFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as neededExperience working with therapeutic diets preferred.Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate / troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.Food Handler's Certificate from San Bernardino County Public Health Department requiredServSafe Certificate RequiredFlu vaccination required
