Job descriptionPrepare and serve food and beverages to patients, visitors, and staff members Ensure that food is prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff members Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic math skills for cash handling Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as neededExperience working with therapeutic diets preferred. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate / troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Food Handler's Certificate from San Bernardino County Public Health Department required ServSafe Certificate Required Flu vaccination required
