Child Life Specialist Job Description
As a Child Life Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and therapeutic interventions to pediatric patients and their families.
Responsibilities include :
Assessing the psychosocial and emotional needs of patients and their families
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address these needs
Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding developmental and psychosocial issues
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications : Essential :
Internship
Bachelor's Degree in Child Life or related field
Child Life Certification within 1 year of position
Non-essential :
Master's Degree in Child Life or related field
Experience : Essential :
2 years directly related experience
Physical Conditions :
Medium Work : Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
