Maintains current knowledge of diabetes and CDE certification. Provides education to diabetic inpatients and outpatients. Provides staff education related to diabetes. Teaches clearly and effectively. (Must obtain in a reasonable timeframe after hire if applicant not currently a DCE) Minimum 2 years experience as an RN Bilingual English / Spanish strongly preferred Experience in program management in health related field Experience in care of people with diabetes Possesses basic computer skills Clear, professional, personable communication Tenet complies with federal, state, and / or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
