Job Summary
The Director of Cyber Recovery Operations is a pivotal role focused on ensuring the resilience and recovery capabilities of the IT organization. You will collaborate with the Network Operating Center (NOC) and the Enterprise Business Continuity Management (EBCM) team to manage Cyber Recovery efforts effectively. This position aims to guarantee that critical technology services, including computer systems, networks, applications, telecommunications, and technical support, can be swiftly restored in line with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the Cyber Recovery Environment architecture, supporting Cyber Recovery and Chaos Engineering initiatives.
- Conduct annual validation for recoverability of Tier 0 through Tier 2 applications within the Cyber Recovery Environment using automation tools.
- Lead Chaos Engineering exercises for Tier 1 applications, analyzing performance, dependencies, and potential failure points.
- Coordinate recovery tests and compile weekly status reports summarizing test results and recommendations.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, exercise reports, and after-action reports post-exercise.
- Facilitate tabletop exercises to prepare IT Teams and ensure proficiency in Cyber Recovery protocols.
- Verify training and certifications are completed by IT Teams related to Cyber Incident Recovery.
- Ensure third-party partners maintain effective Cyber Recovery Response Plans.
- Integrate new technologies and processes into Cyber and Chaos Engineering Test Programs.
- Collect and review requirements from IT and Business Teams to enhance recovery solutions.
- Monitor and resolve open after-action items promptly.
- Assist in developing automation scripts to streamline recovery processes.
- Collaborate with IT vendors to explore new technologies for improved resiliency.
- Provide necessary documentation for audit requirements.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.5-7 years of experience in IT Operations, particularly in Azure Cloud, disaster recovery, and project management.Strong expertise in application and security architecture within Azure.Proficiency with tools like ServiceNow, Microsoft Office, and business continuity applications.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.Preferred experience of 10+ years in IT Data Center Operations or Cyber Recovery.Certifications (Preferred) :
