Job Summary :
The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing various cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. The role involves managing a daily caseload of 8-12 patients and requires expertise in coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as permanent pacemaker implantation. The RN will work within the Cath Lab, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities :
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Manage a daily caseload of 8-12 patients.
- Assist with coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assist with peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assist with permanent pacemaker implantations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status during procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care accurately and completely in Epic.
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond to emergency situations and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Participate in patient and family education.
Required Skills & Certifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.ARRT certification.Fluoro Permit.BLS certification.ACLS certification.Active Registered Nurse license.Preferred Skills & Certifications :
RCIS certification (in addition to ARRT).Experience with Epic charting.Special Considerations :
Weekend work is required.On-call responsibilities are required.Facility may call off one shift per two weeks.Will consider candidates with pending Fluoro permits, provided they have already applied at the time of submission.RTO must be approved at the time of submission.Scheduling :
