Job Summary :

The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing various cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. The role involves managing a daily caseload of 8-12 patients and requires expertise in coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as permanent pacemaker implantation. The RN will work within the Cath Lab, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities :

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Manage a daily caseload of 8-12 patients.
• Assist with coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist with peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist with permanent pacemaker implantations.
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and completely in Epic.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency situations and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Participate in patient and family education.
