Your Responsibilities
Patient Care & Leadership
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in clinic (approx. 30 hours / week) with a dedicated full 10 hour day for administrative tasks as assigned by National Primary Care Medical Director and to complete pod-specific leadership tasksLead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of physicians, PAs, and NPsCommunicate and operationalize Carbon Health's mission, vision, and valuesDrive quality improvement projects and innovation initiativesLead regular team meetings, resolve conflicts, and motivate staff to achieve high performancePartner with Clinic Manager to uphold the highest standards of care, safety, and patient experienceFinancial Accountability
Demonstrate working knowledge of financial statements, clinic billing procedures, and payer guidelinesStay current on diagnostic and procedure coding, ensuring accuracy for reimbursement and training staff as neededAdjust clinic operations and resource allocations in alignment with financial changes and goalsExperiential Outcomes
Serve as an inspirational leader who empowers the team through feedback, recognition, and accountabilityInterview, onboard, and mentor clinicians to ensure success and retentionPerform regular chart audits and one-to-one clinician evaluationsOversee payroll targets and manage clinician schedules across sitesRespond to patient and staff concerns with transparency and professionalismDrive patient experience outcomes, ensuring KPI goals are consistently met or exceededRepresent Carbon Health in community events and marketing activities that promote clinic growth and engagementAbout You
MD / DO with active state license; board certified or board eligible (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)Minimum 2 years of experience in FM / IM, or similar settingAt least 1 year of leadership experience in a healthcare settingSkilled in consulting and treating all patients 18+ and comfortable with basic women's health exams including PAPsFamiliar with financial statements, P&L management, and HR processesStrong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust at every level of the organizationBLS and / or ACLS certification is required and must be obtained before your first day with Carbon HealthWhy Join Carbon Health

Full Time Salary (40 hours per week) :
$263,120.00 - $287,040.00
