- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of pediatric patients, including physical exams, medical histories, and developmental screenings.\n
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions such as respiratory illnesses, infections, allergies, and chronic conditions.\n
- Provide patient education to families regarding health maintenance, nutrition, immunizations, and illness prevention.\n
- Administer vaccinations, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret lab results.\n
- Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.\n
- Provide follow-up care and support for chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and developmental disorders.\n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.\n
- Educate parents and caregivers on managing common childhood health concerns, medication administration, and treatment options.\n
- Ensure a compassionate and patient-centered environment for children and families.\n
- Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education to stay current with pediatric care advancements.\n\nQualifications : \n
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) : Master's degree in Nursing, certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), and current state licensure.\n
- Physician Assistant (PA) : Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies and current state licensure.\n
- Registered Nurse (RN) : Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, with pediatric nursing experience.\n
- BLS / ACLS certification required (for RN, NP, PA).\n
