Description

Combines and maintains one master patient file (index) for each patient within Trinity Health network. Merges duplicate medical records and patient encounters. Updates patient legal names as requested.

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications Required :

None

Educational Requirements :

High School Graduate or GED preferred. Prefer RHIT or Associate in Medical Science.

Experience Requirements :

Prior medical record office experience required. Minimum of two years of HIM experience or direct healthcare experience preferred.

Special Skills or Training Requirements :

Computer skills are necessary. Must be able to communicate effectively with various departments and physicians. An individual should have strong interpersonal organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
