Orthopedic Surgeon - Locum Tenens Opportunity in Kentucky

We are seeking a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in a regional medical center in eastern Kentucky. This is a great chance to provide essential care in a community-focused environment.

Opportunity Details :

Role : Orthopedic Surgeon (Locum Tenens)

Location : Eastern Kentucky (Specifics to be discussed)

Schedule : October 21-26, 2025. Orientation begins at 7 AM on the 21st, and the assignment concludes at 7 AM on the 26th.

Compensation : We offer a generous, above-market compensation package.

Travel & Lodging : All travel and lodging expenses are covered.

Responsibilities include :

Providing both inpatient and outpatient care.

Covering scheduled clinic hours and being on call.

Performing arthroscopy, total joint replacements (hip, knee, and other), and joint revisions / repairs (shoulder, hip, knee, and other).

Required Credentials :

Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.

A Kentucky state medical license or IMLC is required.

BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and DEA certifications are also necessary.

At least 4 years of experience is preferred.
