Large In-Home Care Agency with a small family feel seeking to hire an individual who has a heart to serve and has expereince caring for cleints with dementia / alzheimers in Carencro!

Schedule :

Tuesdays and Wednesdays 5 : 30a-3 : 30p

Responsibilities could include :

Provide personal hygiene assistance for the elderly / disabled

Remind clients to take prescribed medication

Help with mobility

Assist with personal care

Plan and prepare meals

Perform housekeeping duties

Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so

Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications

18 or older

Must be willing and able to submit to and pass a drug screen, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check

Prior verifiable experience with all ADL's including changing, dressing, bathing, transferring (at least 1 year, family care included)

Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation to and from work every single day

Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
