Seeking a fully remote Assistant Controller - seated in the Greater Fort Wayne area

Our client, a growing organization with global operations, is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Controller to join the finance team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping financial operations and driving excellence across the accounting function.

Position Summary

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing core accounting processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This role requires a strong technical accounting background, leadership capabilities, and a passion for continuous improvement.

The Assistant Controller's Responsibilities :

• Lead the monthly and annual financial close process across multiple international entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage intercompany transactions, including reconciliation, elimination entries, and foreign currency adjustments.
• Provide expert guidance on complex accounting topics such as equity transactions, foreign exchange, and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, maintaining audit readiness and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with FP&A, Treasury, and Tax teams to align financial reporting and enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives, including optimization of ERP systems (Oracle, Adaptive Insights, Wands).
• Mentor and develop accounting team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
