Position Overview
The Epic Research Analyst Associate will serve as the primary analyst for the Epic Research module and related systems interfacing with Epic. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of current technologies, tools, and established designs.
This is a full-time, salaried position based in Hicksville, Long Island. The initial training period requires onsite attendance for the first 90 days, with a hybrid work model allowing for 2 remote days thereafter.
Key Responsibilities :
- Offer expert guidance and innovative solutions concerning system options during all phases of project development.
- Collaborate with client management, clinical end users, operations, and leadership to accurately define and understand complex business needs and workflows within the EHR as they pertain to Research.
- Conduct thorough research and evaluate alternative solutions, recommending the most efficient and cost-effective systems design.
- Perform in-depth analysis and system design, including coding of new or modified programs, utilizing existing code, and integrating purchased solutions as needed.
- Document, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for applications to ensure efficiency.
- Provide advanced consulting and leadership in adopting new information technologies, aligning them with the strategic objectives of the functional business units.
- Act as a technical resource for development staff throughout the entire development and implementation process.
- Execute additional duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications :
Educational Requirement : Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education and experience.Proficiency or certification in the Epic Research module.Strong knowledge of Epic’s integration capabilities with various external platforms and systems.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
