Job descriptionGreet visitors, employees, and / or delivery personnel in a professional manner at the front desk, verifying identification and providing appropriate directions or assistance as needed. Monitor access to the location by managing visitor logs and issuing badges in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Communicate security-related concerns and / or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client representatives as required. Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate, following site-specific guidelines. Provide customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and / or requests from visitors and employees at the location. Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Security Professional - Logistics Desk Patrol
As a Security Professional - Logistics Desk Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing access control, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your attentiveness and strong communication skills, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork as you support the daily operations of a dynamic logistics setting.

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
