Job description

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy recruiting development and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded builder to join the WW Partner GTM Acceleration team and work closely with senior leaders to ensure that we are aligned and working as single organization to achieve our strategic goals.

This function will accelerate the AWS Transform Services GTM strategy and growth with Partners (as defined by our Operating Plan) through strategic initiatives that transform our organizational capability and operational excellence. This position requires a strong understanding of the internal AWS and external Partner business dynamics AWS field enablement and planning processes the ability to make important data-driven decisions and bias for action to implement strategies that enhance performance with speed.

You must be uncomfortable with status quo curious about new programs and initiatives impacting our customers partners and employees and possess the ability to ask the right questions. This function needs to have a bias for action make informed decisions demonstrating a proactive approach to projects and tasks. You must be comfortable taking risks and raising the bar for new ways of doing things. Strong analytical Think Big Invent & Simplify skills are crucial for success in this position.

Key job responsibilities

Contribute to AWS Transform Services portfolio strategy development architecting comprehensive strategies and analytics frameworks to drive data-driven decision making across regions.

Design and implement field and partner enablement programs including training and engagement models to transform sales effectiveness through innovative technology solutions.

Partner cross functionally to develop and maintain measurement frameworks to evaluate initiative and program effectiveness.

Develop geo-specific GTM plans and Get to Green plans implementing scalable mechanisms that drive organizational effectiveness across multiple regions.

Build strategic relationships with field and partner leadership serving as a primary liaison between AWS Transform GTM leaders and regional stakeholders.

Partner with business teams to deliver deep-dive analyses highlighting business opportunities and risks while managing feedback loops between field teams partners and GTM leadership.

Lead cross-organizational initiatives with to integrate solutions and streamline business processes.

Foster organizational alignment through effective communication of strategy and goals across all levels driving proven results.

Analyze business dynamics and architect scalable solutions identifying opportunities for AAIS-specific enhancements to AWS field and partner scaling programs.

Roll up sleeves and build sophisticated data models and data analysis as needed.

  • 5 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 5 years of Go-To-Market Business Development Sales or Consulting experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $220200 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits.
