Communications Collaborative is hiring : Multimedia Specialist in Providence

Our Rhode Island healthcare client is seeking a part-time contract Multimedia Specialist to support its Marketing & Communications team. In this role, you will develop and produce engaging multimedia content that enhances the organization’s brand and digital presence. Projects include creating videos, photography, animations, and graphics for campaigns, patient stories, fundraising efforts, social media, and other communications channels. From storyboarding and filming through editing and post-production, you’ll ensure all content is on-brand, accessible, and aligned with organizational goals. This role collaborates closely with internal teams, external partners, and press / media to deliver accurate, compelling materials. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of multimedia experience, strong technical skills with Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to manage multiple projects on deadline.

Position Summary :

This role is responsible for developing and producing engaging multimedia content that effectively communicates our brand message and enhances our digital presence. Close collaboration with various departments to create innovative solutions that resonate with our target audience. This individual is responsible for providing press / media with imagery when suitable and represents the company and all operating units with accurate and positive material. Videos will include, patient experience stories, medical expert interviews, fundraising videos, b-roll for in-house archiving and to share with the media, as well as campaign / branding videos, with our head of media as this person collaborates with her on all seeking out what is meaningful and making the voices and choices of the organization heard.

Hours : Must be available on an as-needed basis and be able to go onsite when needed.

Education : Bachelor’s Degree Required (Multimedia, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field).

Experience : 3-5 years of experience in multimedia production. Experience with photography, videography, and animation for various platforms.

Portfolio : A robust portfolio showcasing diverse multimedia projects that demonstrate skill and experience.

Licensure / Certification :

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Animate, and Audition.
• Knowledge of web development (HTML / CSS)
