HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Class A or B CDL Operator to join our safety-driven team in Woods Cross, UT! The CDL Operator will be responsible for the safe and effective execution of HPC Industrial projects across all service lines. This role includes supervising and completing various tasks that may require a single crew, while ensuring compliance with client and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as a safety representative, ensuring adherence to both company and client safety policies and procedures, with hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response, and administrative functions;
- Operates vacuum and hydroblasting equipment effectively;
- Handles specialized equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps;
- Energizes pumping, hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment as needed;
- May conduct inspections of surfaces to ensure they meet company and client standards;
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment utilized;
- May direct a crew of vacuum technicians;
- Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations as needed;
- Completes pre and post-trip inspections, maintains driver's logs, and adheres to vehicle and DOT policy requirements;
- Loads and unloads equipment, including hoses, and manages waste disposal;
- Provides general maintenance on site as required;
- Assumes other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience garnered from vocational training, on-the-job training, and relevant previous employment;
- Ability to understand and respond to instructions in English, particularly in safety and emergency situations;
- Possession of a valid CDL Class A or B driver's license in accordance with company policy;
- Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device;
- Possession of a Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be necessary;
- Knowledge of emergency equipment operation such as fire extinguishers;
- Experience operating a vacuum truck is essential;
- Familiarity with equipment used in both wet and dry vacuum operations.
What does it take to be part of HPC-Industrial?
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience;
- Valid Class A or B CDL License is essential;
- HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements are preferred.
