Lab Assistant

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Due to the nature of the job, the candidate should be able to lift 15 pounds with assistance.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Ability to sit and / or stand for extended periods of time.

Must pass a standardized color blindness test.

Required Work Experience :

Previous medical / lab or production experience is preferred.

Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills preferred.

Working Conditions :

This is a fast-paced production environment that has established turn-around times.

Employee will be handling biological specimens with a potential of being exposed to blood borne pathogens.
