Executive Portfolio Leader
Executive Portfolio Leader with the Projects Coordination Office (PCO) is a cross-business execution leader for tendering and execution of large enterprise projects that span multiple business units across GE Vernova valued at $4 B to $10 B. This portfolio of projects is expected to accrue billions in contribution margin to GEV, and the Portfolio Leader is accountable for achieving all associated GEV financial metrics. They will establish PCO processes and governance for data center projects during early customer engagement, commercial structuring and bidding, as well as execution. Enable pull-through of equipment and services across different GE Vernova businesses when appropriate. The Portfolio Leader will demonstrate matrix leadership of a global projects team across Power, Electrification, and Wind segments in partnership with corporate teams including Consulting Services and Finance Services to ensure all aspects of tendering and execution of a contract are achieved as per GEV corporate goals. They will also be accountable for on time proposal development and delivery of integrated power plants in ITO and OTR phases including contractual technical scope, schedule, project cost definition, and fulfillment within allocated budget. The Portfolio Leader will help drive this cultural transformation by championing integrated "beacon" projects and driving innovation in systems solutions for the rapidly expanding datacenter space. They will represent GEV in front of enterprise customers during the entire lifecycle of the project as needed including framework negotiations, and will be responsible for resolving significant customer issues, and managing the critical path for customer success. They will act as Voice of the Customer in front of the GEV Integrated Projects Executive Committee on behalf of enterprise level data center customers to resolve project challenges in close coordination with the business units and the global fulfillment functions to ensure customer satisfaction. This will frequently require interfacing closely with C-suite level leaders at significant customer accounts.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Defining, planning, and coordinating enterprise level tendering and project execution
- Identifying and resolving resources challenges
- Providing strategic direction to the broader team as required to meet GEV objectives
- Ensuring appropriate risk management and driving compliance with corporate directives and EHS standards
- Providing strategic cross-business coordination and enabling commercial structuring of integrated projects
- Establishing PCO processes and governance in the Pre-ITO, ITO and OTR phases in collaboration with the Business Units and Consulting Services
- Orchestrating overall Commercial Structure for enterprise projects across BU's including Equipment Contracts, SPV, Consortia / Partners, Prime / Sub, etc.
- Leading and coordinating strategic framework and MSA discussions with enterprise customers in collaboration with BU's
- Identifying and connecting industry enablers and partners including EPCs and investors for enterprise projects
- Ensuring separate GEV BU & partner bids get qualified / optimized / integrated while limiting liabilities and ensuring executability
- Working alongside the business units to enable the Sales and Commercial teams to effectively prepare robust proposals that minimize execution risk, ensuring seamless transition to execution
- Influencing contract development, driving risk mitigation and enabling alignment on scope, cost, and schedule across BU's in collaboration with the Chief Risk Office and Consulting Services
- Supporting the development of the project execution strategy during the bidding phase working with key functions to drive effective implementation and solve process delays
- Incorporating lessons learned from BU's and over time PCO projects execution and establishing feedback loop between ITO and OTR teams
- Proactively supporting mitigation of project risks in partnership with fulfillment functions through influencing BU functions such as Global Supply Chain, Engineering, and others to ensure engagement and drive major customer issue resolution early
- Facilitating customer claims resolution and settlements with leadership buy-in across GEV
Qualifications / Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college and / or equivalent power plant knowledge / experience15 years of complex power plant projects structuring and execution experience spanning different power generation technologies including Wind, Nuclear, Heavy Duty Gas Turbine, and Aero Derivative Gas TurbineDesired Characteristics :

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location.
