Provides professional nursing services to accomplish the individual patient plan of care; independently and consistently using the nursing process to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a full assignment of patients with subtle and sometimes unidentified needs. Supports the operations of the Emergency Services Department at the Alaska Native Medical Center

Schedule :

Level II Trauma Center providing care to outpatients and inpatientsQualifications & Requirements
Associates Degree in NursingAlaska valid RN licenseOne (1) year of experience in specialtyEquivalent knowledge, experience, education, or training may be substituted for educationMust have participated in 30 hours every 2 years continuing education in nursing in general, 16 of whichare in the specific area of practice
Current license in the State of Alaska as a Registered NurseCurrent Basic Life Support card requiredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificationare required within twelve (12) months of hire
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferredNational certification is preferredOverview
