Warehouse Driver

The Warehouse Driver delivers equipment and materials, including vendor deliveries, jobsite returns, and scheduled pickups.

Essential Responsibilities and Job Duties :

• Assist the Warehouse Team Lead (WTL) with routine inspections of all department vehicles and tools for signs of wear and tear.
• Perform hands-on movement of materials, including managing incoming and outgoing deliveries, and loading / unloading vehicles.
• Participate in scheduled warehouse inventoriesmonthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Conduct weekly spot checks to assess inventory levels and identify replenishment needs.
• Deliver materials to project sites as needed.
• Provide support at job sites when required.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks such as trash removal, unloading and disposing of returned materials, yard cleaning, and mowing.
• Accurately label and identify all incoming materials by project.
• Follow established procedures for monitoring all materials brought into the warehouse for inventory tracking.
• Adhere to systems for tracking materials removed from the warehouse for inventory and job costing purposes.
• Comply with processes for scheduling and tracking incoming deliveries, verifying packing slips, forwarding documentation to accounting, and updating the Ordered Materials / Equipment Sheet.
• Follow procedures for scheduling and tracking all outgoing job deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of specialized tools and equipment checked out to field personnel.
• Interact respectfully and courteously with coworkers at all times.
