About the Role :
As the Store Manager of our artisan café in Fountain Valley, you'll play a vital role in shaping the Front of House (FOH) experience. You'll lead a team of passionate baristas and shift leads to create a warm, memorable, and guest-focused environment. This role blends operational excellence with floor leadership - ensuring every guest interaction reflects our core values of quality, care, and community.
You'll oversee day-to-day operations, team development, and FOH presentation - from service flow and ambiance to product quality and hospitality. A successful manager thrives both on the café floor connecting with guests and behind the scenes driving efficiency and team growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead by example on the floor, modeling exceptional hospitality, beverage knowledge, and guest engagement.
Ensure consistent execution of service standards, FOH cleanliness, and product presentation.
Oversee store operations - identifying opportunities for improvement and proactively addressing issues to ensure smooth service, safety, and operational excellence.
Train, mentor, and coach team members to provide outstanding customer service and embody 7 Leaves Café values.
Manage scheduling, labor, and floor coverage to maintain optimal service levels throughout the day.
Collaborate with the District Manager to execute company initiatives, meet business goals, and enhance the guest experience.
Conduct interviews, onboarding, and ongoing development of Team Members.
Maintain awareness of promotions, seasonal items, and company updates, ensuring clear communication across the team.
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism.
Foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that emphasizes learning, accountability, and pride in craft.
Requirements & Qualifications :
Minimum 1 year of customer service or retail / FOH management experience (café or restaurant background preferred).
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a team.
Proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience while balancing operational priorities.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Comfortable managing fast-paced environments and multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Able to provide constructive feedback, guide conflict resolution, and uphold company standards.
Physically able to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift and regularly lift up to 45 lbs.
Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel within the assigned district as needed.
