Telemetry RN Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Telemetry RN Location : Austin, Texas 78704 (Central Texas healthcare jobs) Unit : 4 Central – Telemetry (32 private rooms) Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour days) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Dress Code : Navy scrubs Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360 - $1460 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience BLS (CPR) certification required Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation Experience with advanced airways and oxygen management Familiarity with cardiac drips (not titrated) Preferred : ACLS certification Strong teamwork and communication skills Telemetry RN Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients in a 32-bed telemetry unit Manage respiratory needs, including advanced airways and oxygen therapy Administer cardiac drips as ordered (not titrated) Assist with procedures : stress tests, heart catheterizations, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube management Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including RNs, PCTs, and unit clerks Float to Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding areas as needed Document patient care and interventions using Meditech EMR Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
