• Experience in labor and delivery
• Patient Population : Neonates / Infants and Adults
• Experience with labor (vaginal), C-sections, multiple births, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Familiarity with pregnancy-induced hypertension
• Strong team-based skills

Description :

We are seeking motivated, experienced labor and delivery nurses.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery.

First-time travelers are not accepted.

The patient population includes both neonates / infants and adults.

The unit consists of 16 labor and delivery beds with an average daily census of 15 patients.

The ratio of nurses to patients is 1 : 1 or 1 : 2.

Floating within the facility is required.

Call requirements include two calls for AM and PM shifts every six weeks.

If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the nurse is expected to work it.

If two major holidays occur, the nurse is expected to work both.

If three major holidays occur during the assignment period, the nurse is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve / New Year's Day.

Full compliance is required to ensure a timely start to the assignment.

The nurse will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of clinical skills relevant to the labor and delivery specialty.

Key skills include administration of blood products, amnioinfusion, high-risk delivery assistance, and postpartum care.

Experience with electronic charting systems is essential.
