About The Position

Job Title : X-Ray Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : OR X-Ray Tech Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience C-arm experience required Trauma experience preferred License : Valid state license required Certifications : ARRT certification required AHA BLS certification required Must-Have : Clienttion badge must be supplied by the agency Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required Description : This position is for an X-Ray Tech working in the outpatient operating room. Daily caseload may vary based on facility needs. The schedule will include working three 12-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM, with some holidays as needed. There is a weekly on-call rotation of 3-4 days per month. Clienttion badge must be provided by the agency, as the facility does not supply them. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Experience with O-arm is preferred but not required. The facility is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds. Travelers should be aware of emergency response team assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. Candidates must have a valid South Carolina license in hand prior to starting the position.
