Job Description :

Join the dedicated team at Skagit Valley Hospital as a Labor & Delivery RN, providing compassionate care to mothers and newborns during one of the most critical times. This role involves monitoring labor progress, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring both maternal and neonatal safety. Flexibility to float between Skagit Valley Hospital (SVH) and Central Valley Hospital (CVH) provides diverse clinical experience and professional growth opportunities. The position offers a dynamic environment that requires excellent clinical skills, quick decision-making, and a caring approach to patient care.

Responsibilities include :

Monitoring and managing labor and delivery processes

Assisting obstetricians and healthcare team during delivery

Providing prenatal, intra-partum, and postpartum care

Utilizing C-EFM for fetal monitoring to evaluate fetal well-being

Educating and supporting patients through labor and delivery routines

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care

What You Bring :

Proven experience in Labor & Delivery nursing with strong procedural and bedside skills

Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations

Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills

Flexible and adaptable to float between facilities as needed

Good organizational skills with attention to detail

Preferred Education & Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred

Experience with electronic fetal monitoring systems and neonatal resuscitation required

Additional Details :

Potential to float between SVH and CVH as needed

Ability to call off up to 3 shifts per contract

Guaranteed hours : 36 hours per week

Weekly taxable pay : $2,172.86

Weekly stipend : $1,246.00
