Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist experienced in both healthcare and school settings to serve K-12 students. This position is based in Beech Grove, IN, providing therapy services across several school facilities including early childhood through high school levels.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver physical therapy assessment and interventions to K-12 students as part of their individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to implement appropriate therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
- Document therapy services and maintain pliance with school and state guidelines.
- Support transitions in special programs during ongoing district transitions.
Qualifications :
Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric healthcare and school-based therapy.Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration within educational environments.Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 5-6 students, with flexibility due to program transitions.Strong munication skills and professional collaboration.Adaptability to varying student populations and therapy needs.Position Details :
