Electrician Position

Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is accepting applications for skilled electricians. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. The job duties include:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, circuits, and equipment in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
• Reading blueprints.
• Ability to learn and perform generator maintenance.
• Running and bending conduit, wiring and terminating devices, and performing quality control testing and troubleshooting.
• Responding to service calls, including emergency calls, nights/weekends/overtime, as required.
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in residential retrofit and remodel settings.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving moderately heavy objects.
• Work and communicate effectively with customers, office staff, apprentices, vendors, and other tradespeople.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the necessary repairs.
• Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects.
• Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and job bids.

Requirements:

• California electrician certification
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Passionate about coaching and teaching assistants
• Valid driver's license and the ability to be insured on our policy
• Ability to communicate with customers and interact with various employees in the company
• Willing to travel to various job sites in the bay area
