A K-12 school in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a Contract position for the current school year. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in educational and psychological assessments, counseling, and student support within a dynamic school setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students to identify learning needs and develop intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide counseling services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on student well-being.
- Monitor the progress of interventions and adjust support plans as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience :
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in South Carolina, or eligibility for certification.Experience working in a K-12 educational environment.Strong knowledge of psychological testing procedures, data interpretation, and evidence-based interventions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, families, and educational staff.Location :
