Shulman Rogers' Real Estate Department seeks a Commercial Real Estate attorney. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience as an attorney with substantial commercial office and retail leasing experience, including both landlord-side and tenant-side representation. Additional transactional commercial real estate experience is recommended but not required. This is an exciting and challenging position that will allow you to grow as a professional.
Responsibilities :
- Negotiate and draft commercial office and retail leases and related ancillary documents, including amendments, letters of intent, subordination and non-disturbance agreements, consents to assignment / sublease, estoppels, and commission agreements.
- Negotiate and draft transactional commercial real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, deeds, assignment documents, financing documents, and general corporate authority documents.
- Review and summarize due diligence materials (including leases and service contracts), monitor contingencies, review and prepare title and survey objections, and closing documents.
- Conduct closings and complete post-closing documentation and administration.
- Provide assistance to senior level attorneys, senior paralegals and staff members.
Required Skills :
