Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift surgical position with required BLS certification and rotating on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Surgical Unit of a hospital setting

Day shift schedule from 07 : 00 to 15 : 30, Monday through Friday

On-call required with rotation for weekdays, weekends, and holidays

13-week contract assignment

Duties include perioperative patient care and participation in surgical procedures

Must provide coverage during holidays as scheduled

Local and travel candidates are both eligible for this position

Requirements

Active RN license eligible for primary source verification via Nursys

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in operating room nursing

Completion of DCI / BVP training (can be satisfied through approved providers or CDC resource)
