We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will scour all available avenues to fill our open positions with the best-qualified candidates. Your responsibilities will include defining hiring criteria, researching possible candidates and reaching out to potential hires with information about the positions. The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator with a background in human resources and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all stages of the hiring process and recruiting strategyCreate and update job descriptions, requirements, and objectivesResearch potential hires on resume databases and portfolio sitesReach out to candidates via phone and email and follow up with regular communicationBuild a network of contacts and potential candidatesPlace ads and write copy for open positionsConduct in-person, video, and phone interviewsAttend job fairs and networking events to build a pool of candidatesTrack key performance indicators and report on recruiting metricsQualifications
Previous experience as a Recruiter, Hiring Specialist, or related positionFamiliarity with multiple interview types (structured, competency-based, stress etc)Experience conducting interviews and background checksExperience with sourcing tools and techniquesKnowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databasesStrong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skillsFamiliarity with labor laws and legislationExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects
