These facilities are Joint-Commission certified Primary Stroke Centers and offer an outstanding collaborative environment for acute neurology care. Position Highlights : Consultative service only â€" manage a wide range of acute neurological issues in ED, medical / surgical floors, and ICUs Schedule : 24 weeks of inpatient coverage / year - A “week†is 7 consecutive days, 8AMâ€"8PM - Evening call coverage shared by telephone - Weekend evenings covered by Teleneurology Comfort with acute stroke care is essential Teaching and Supervision : opportunities to train and mentor residents, fellows, students, and APPs Didactics : weekly Grand Rounds, monthly Neurohospitalist lecture series, EEG conference Academic Engagement : opportunities in research, QI, patient experience, interviews, and public / professional lectures Compensation & Benefits : Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement Malpractice with tail coverage Paid CME with stipend Generous PTO Sign-on and relocation assistance available
